If you
don’t know how to
apply
eye
make up don’t worry! You’re definitely
not alone.
It is surprising at home many people choose not to wear eye make up
because they simply don’t know how to use it!
The first thing you’ll want to do
to apply eye make up is use concealer under and above your eyelids.
This will give you a fresh base to start from. Then, you’ll
want to apply the eye shadow.
Start with the lighter color right under the
brow bone. Pearly colors can look especially great here. Then, you can
apply the medium and darker colors to the bottom of your upper lid.
Next, you’ll want to apply the
eyeliner. Some women make the mistake of really piling the eyeliner on!
Be extra careful not to make this mistake or you will lose the great
eye make up look you are going for.
After you’re finished with the
eyeliner, you can apply make up to your lashes. Mascara is really one
of the best make up tools you can use. Nothing else can really make
your lids pop like using mascara can! Make sure that you’ve
chosen mascara that compliments your lashes.
Start from the base of your eyelashes and
work your way up. Some women like to wiggle the brush up from the base
in order to make sure you’ve gotten all the lashes possible.
The most important thing you need to worry
about is to not get clumps. Clumps in your lashes can ruin all of the
hard work you’ve done to create a great eye make up look.
Keep in mind that in order to apply eye make
up you do not need to look like a clown! You’ve probably
shuddered before if you’ve ever passed someone on the street
that has simply overdone their makeup. Take notice of this and
don’t make the same mistake.
The best way to avoid this problem is to see
how your eye make up looks in the daylight. If you’ve been
relying on a dinky bathroom light to see the application, then you
could be missing how it looks to other people when you’re out
and about all day.
Learning to apply eye make up is a great
thing you can do. Not only will you look beautiful to yourself and
others, but your self-esteem will improve also. Take the time to follow
the application tips and make sure you always consider how your eye
make up will look once you leave the house.
